MEET ASHLEY Ashley is a yogi who has always felt at home on the water. Her love of the water started when rowing as a teenager and soon her passion for yoga followed. For the past decade Ashley has found comfort on her yoga mat, building strength, flexibility, love and a calm mind. When pregnant, she took her first SUP Yoga class on the Shuswap in British Columbia where she spent many summers. Ashley loves how the element of water combined with yoga requires absolute awareness. More than a regular yoga class, SUP Yoga requires breath, postures and demands awareness and presence. She finds the water freeing. It’s fluidity and movement teaches us to let go and flow.
Teaching yoga and SUP Yoga has been a natural progression in her evolving lifestyle. She has recently deepened her practice by manifesting her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Lakefield.
From her home water on Chemong Lake, Ashley will join us this summer on the water of Cobourg Beach. Ashley intends to help people find balance both on and off the water and deepen their relationship with nature and themselves.
